Mr. Sacks is the Founder and Managing Partner of VCGi. He is a seasoned entrepreneurial and consulting executive with 25 years of experience in strategy consulting and launching new ventures in both the corporate environment and the venture backed communities.
Mr. Sacks currently manages a portfolio small companies, including VCGi, in which he is a principle investor. Over the past 25 years he has served as an executive of AT&T, CEO of a public technology company, and an Interim Operating Executive for several clients.
Jonathan Cape - Partner Media Industry
Mr. Cape is a specialist in early stage, high growth and turnaround situations; focusing on emerging and convergent media, related technologies, and business transformation through carve outs, spinouts and outsourcing.
Mr. Cape has twenty years of media management, including P&L and M&A experience, in the US and Europe. He has a deep understanding of both the Media and Technology sectors, including software – client and vendor side – Internet, Broadcast, Print and Information Services. He has consistently demonstrated an ability to create shareholder value through the successful launch of new products and businesses in both entrepreneurial and structured corporate environments.
Jill Plaice - Partner Proces Transformation Practice
Ms. Plaice has a diversified business background with over twenty years experience in all aspects of consulting, account management, sales management, marketing, technical support, and process management.
For the past 15 years, Ms. Plaice has specialized in business process transformation. She has led a number of process design and redesign engagements with major finacial firms, telecommunications providers and systems outsourcers. These engagements have covered the gamut from overall business processes for managing the company to detailed sales, order entry, and operational processes. On multiple projects, Ms. Plaice has led teams designing the business and operational interfaces between two companies working in a joint venture/alliance arrangement both on a national and international basis.
